- Fall Wine Tours
The Okanagan is full of award winning wineries and the Fall is a great time to check them out. Enjoy a glass of wine on a beautiful patio and take in some gorgeous lake views from a few local favourite wineries! Happy wine touring!
- Bike or Hike Myra Canyon
Ride through two tunnels and over 18 trestle bridges while being treated to unbelievable views. This beautifully scenic portion of the Kettle Valley Railway offers visitors some of the best views in the city. There are always rental bikes available if need be and if you’re not a fan of bike riding, you can even walk (or run) the trail. It’s the perfect destination for some world-class sightseeing.
- Get out and Golf!
Our Okanagan climate offers above average temperatures compared to most areas in Canada and because of this, golf seasons lasts longer out here. Kelowna golf courses are amazing in the fall. Cooler (although still mild) temperatures and beautiful fall colours will be sure to enhance your end of season golf experience!
Most markets are still open in the fall and are much less crowded than in the middle of summer. You can enjoy all the goodness of local fall fruits and vegetables without the crazy crowds. September is time a great time for freshly picked pears & apples!

You can’t think of Fall without thinking about harvest, pumpkins and corn mazes! Many Local Farms offer up all those things and more. Tour a corn maze, enjoy a hayride, take in the stunning fall foliage, and maybe even see some animals! A great day for the whole family!
